Norman Kettner - DC, DACBR, FICC
Dr. Kettner is the Dean of Research, Institutional Review Board Chair, and Emeritus Professor of Radiology at Logan University, where he has been a faculty member since 1980 and became Chair of the Radiology Department in 1984. Elected president of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology in 1991, he has served as an NIH/NCCAM grant reviewer. His research focuses on advanced brain imaging to study chronic pain and brain responses to acupuncture and spinal manipulation, in collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kettner has published extensively and received numerous awards, including the 2016 ACA Presidential Award and the 2021 Spirit of Logan Distinguished Alumni Award. He has also played significant roles in integrating non-pharmacological care into pain management.

Trent Jones -
DC
Dr. Trent Jones, a seasoned chiropractor with over 26 years of experience in Peru, Indiana, founded Indian Lakes Campground and Cole Bros Water Company. He holds a B.S. in Human Biology from Indiana University and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic, where he also taught. Since retiring in 2014, Dr. Jones has focused on helping children with catastrophic seizure syndromes through hemp-based treatments, specializing in hemp genetics, agronomy, and botanical clinical research. As CEO of Apothio, LLC and Noah’s Arc Foundation, he continues his groundbreaking research and patient care internationally, often at no cost to the patients.

Jake Halverson - DC, DACBR
Dr. Halverson earned a BS in Zoology from Weber State University and graduated as valedictorian with a DC from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in Fall 2018. He completed a three-year post-doctorate residency in diagnostic imaging at Logan University, obtaining his DACBR certificate in 2021. Dr. Halverson joined Universidad Central del Caribe (UCC) in August 2021 as a remote Assistant Professor, initially teaching core radiology courses and later relocating to Puerto Rico in January 2022 to provide in-person clinical radiology training with a focus on MSK ultrasound. He also teaches at Logan University's MSCP program and the Camara Institute for Chiropractic Sciences in the Philippines. Dr. Halverson's research interests include MSK ultrasound training outcomes and the mechanisms of chiropractic spinal manipulation.

Brett Packer -
Brett grew up in Idaho on organically cared-for acreage surrounded by alfalfa fields, gardens, and orchards that blended seamlessly into a forest with a flowing creek. This early immersion in nature shaped a lifelong passion for agriculture that works in harmony with natural systems. Throughout his professional journey, Brett has worked across the globe developing biological, organic, and regenerative agricultural initiatives. His experience spans reforestation, agricultural tourism, and the responsible extraction of nature’s healing compounds from aromatic botanicals. This work in sustainable agriculture and plant stewardship has directly informed his commitment to supporting the creation of high-quality, whole-plant formulations, designed to honor the integrity of the plant while delivering meaningful, nature-derived wellness solutions.

Chris Packer -
Chris Packer is the Executive Director of Essential Oils Supply, but his work truly begins far from the office, deep in forests, high in the mountains, or trekking through remote landscapes in search of remarkable plants. An ethnobotanist, herbalist, and essential-oil chemist, Chris has led research expeditions not only across South and Central America but also through North America, the Rocky Mountains, and the Himalayan regions of Nepal. His fieldwork focuses on documenting traditional plant knowledge, discovering rare or threatened species, and understanding the chemistry and cultural significance of the botanicals he studies. Chris’s conservation efforts include major reforestation and habitat-restoration projects in Ecuador, where he worked to revive native forest ecosystems and protect culturally important species. He has contributed to more than 20 scientific publications, driven by a passion for discovery, storytelling, and the restoration of fragile environments. When he’s not in the field or the lab, Chris is usually mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, or exploring the wild places that continue to shape his curiosity and fuel his sense of adventure.

Jeremy Riggle -
Dr. Jeremy Riggle is a scientist and innovator with deep expertise in analytical chemistry, cannabinoid research, and wellness driven product development. After earning his Ph.D. from the University of Idaho, he went on to teach as an Associate Professor of Chemistry before cofounding Eastern Oregon Analytical, one of the early cannabis compliance and research laboratories supporting validated testing and academic discovery. Jeremy has contributed significantly to the advancement of cannabis science, from mentoring students who presented the first cannabis based research at the American Chemical Society to serving on Oregon’s state appointed task force examining the public health potential of cannabis. His leadership later expanded nationally as Chief Scientific Officer for Mary’s Medicinals, where he oversaw product innovation, quality systems, and one of the first IRB approved clinical trials involving a cannabis product in the United States. Today, Dr. Riggle brings this science first philosophy to Apothio, supporting our mission to unify rigorous research with nature inspired wellness. His work reinforces Apothio’s commitment to transparency, integrity, and regenerative hemp innovation that benefits both people and the planet. Jeremy also supports the Noah’s Arc Foundation, contributing to initiatives that uplift youth through creativity, nature, and community connection. This reflects his belief that wellness extends beyond products and into human possibility. When he is not in the lab or collaborating with mission focused organizations, he enjoys exploring Colorado through mountain biking, hiking, and white water rafting.
